Email addresses are kind of like fruit - they tend to go bad after a
while. People change ISPs, ISPs close down, people change domains and
forget that they still had old email addresses on web pages and online
directories, etc. It's not uncommon at all to have a so-called "fresh"
email address list that contains over 50% invalid email addresses! If you
were to send your emails to a list like this, 50% of your time and
bandwidth would be wasted on attempting to deliver to undeliverable email
addresses (not to mention having your inbox filled with undeliverables).
Well, those days are over. Now you can use Prospect Verifier
to clean up your email address lists and remove all of the undeliverables
from them. Here are just a few of its features:
-
Very easy to use. Simply load your email
address list files and click "Go!". -
Connects to the mail server of the email address
to verify without sending any emails. -
Uses up to 100 channels to swiftly
verify thousands of email addresses per hour. -
Capable of verifying email address lists and
individual email addresses.
When developing our software programs, we try to make them as easy to use
as possible without sacrificing on functionality. The wizard screens will take you step-by-step
from the beginning to the end of the verification process so that even a
computer novice can operate the program with ease.
Let's get
started!
Screen #1
When you open Prospect Verifier, the first screen you will see is this:

This screen allows you to load the list of email addresses that you wish
to verify. It will also allow you to manually enter individual email
addresses. To load a list of email addresses from a file, simply click
the button to the right of the top window to browse through your computer
and select the file (you can only load one file per session). To add an
email address manually, enter the email address in the window on the
right in the "enter individual addresses" section and click on the "add
address to list" button. If you add an address by mistake and need to
remove it, simply check the box to the left of the address in the left
window and click on the "remove selected address from list" button. To
remove all manually entered addresses, click the "remove all addresses
from list". When you have finished loading the email addresses you want
to verify, click the "next" button.
Screen #2

The next screen that comes up will allow you to select or create a file
to save your verified addresses in. If you select a file
that has already been created, the program will append (add to) the list.
Prospect Verifier adds to the list as the addresses are
verified, so you will never have to worry about losing any verified addresses if you accidentally drop your internet connection.
There are two different ways to save addresses that have been processed
by
Prospect Verifier. Option #1, "save addresses that verify only",
allows you to save only the addresses that have actually been
verified. In other words, sometimes the program will be unable to connect
to mail servers due to internet congestion or other reasons. These
addresses will be categorized as "unknown" because the program was unable
to determine if they were valid. If you want to have the program save
both the verified and the unknown addresses, select Option #2,
"save addresses that verify and addresses with unknown results". When you
are finished making selections on this screen, click the "next" button.
Screen #3

This third and last screen is where the program processes the
verification
requests. To begin the process, simply click on the Go! button. To stop
it for any reason, click the Stop! button. In the left window of the
screen you will see the email addresses that are being verified. On the right side of the screen you will see the
time that the verification process started and the number of addresses
that have been verified. On the lower left you will see three different
colored boxes that serve as a guide to determine the result of each email
address after it has been verified. The invalid addresses will show up as
red, the valid addresses will show up as green, and the unknown addresses
will show up as white.
After processing your email addresses with
Prospect Verifier, you can then load the file it created into
Prospect Mailer and be sure that all of the email addresses
you send have been verified and are valid email addresses!
